Let's be honest—video calls can be a real pain. There's no sugarcoating it. They're often awkward, and the lack of consistency in how the various platforms operate doesn't help.
Are we using Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Blue Jeans...hold on, it's a WEBEX this time!
It's virtually impossible to become an expert in all these different apps. Trust me. And don't even think about going overboard with lights, diffusers, green screens, and all.
I've been there, and now I'm stuck with a giant green screen taking up space in my office.
